Thinking about putting a lift on my '08 XLT and am looking for any advice/suggestions/information I can get.
This is a family vehicle which I'd like to take trail riding, so I'm thinking the biggest tires I'd put on would either be 31" or 32".
What are my options as far lifts go? Can I simply put a suspension lift on it, or will I also need some body lift? Is there a good (I don't want something that needs to be replaced in a year or two) lift out there which doesn't require any additional fabrication? I have the resources necessary to install a lift, but I don't have the means to fabricate anything.
Where is a good place to start looking for parts? I read Ronin's thread about the work he did, and am going to check out the Poly Performance site, but wasn't sure if there was anywhere else I should look.
