What is everyones opinion on this. I can't seem to find any substantial info on the KKM? It is considerably cheaper that the k & N Intake, by like $200.

K & N claims a 11 horsepower increase???

Opinions wanted

The KKM is just an adapter and cone filter, whereas the K & N is a complete intake.

Also take a look at the Mac intake.

Don't believe the manufacturers hype on this one.

The 11 HP is not an addition to total HP... it is the max gain in NP somehere along the HP curve. Said another way if stock total HP is 300 HP (just made up), then the intake will not get you 311 HP.

Again, with made up numbers: maybe at 2200 rpms the stock HP is 225 HP then they saw an increase of 11 HP there.

Total HP my be 1-2 difference (again, not real numbers in my example).
