I just installed a Kenwood DDX371 in my 2007 ST. The Metra kit said to install the spacers and longer screws included that mount the radio to the vehicle. Everything went back together OK, but I could swear I have a little more gap on the top then I should (where the top of the trim cover meets the dash). Not too noticeable and might be normal, but I thought....hmmmm...I wonder if those spacers are making the radio assy stick out some.

Anyone else use them? I hate to tear back into it, but not a huge deal.

Most kits allow you to adjust the radio in/out of the dash. Mine even allows a little bit of up and down movement.
Basically.. play with it until you like it.

FYI: The spacers were needed. Without them, there was a little gap closer to the top. The gap I was seeing originally is normal, it seems.

Good to know you fixed it.
Every kit is a little different, it just requires some creative thinking.
