Removed the 4 bolts holding each front seat in so I can take my carpet out and clean it.

Both front seats have airbags, will it be okay to just unplug them, remove the carpet and re-install driver seat and plug? (Won't be putting passenger seat back in until the carpet is done and dry.

Just want to make sure I'm not gonna deploy any airbags, and not hurt the system and have to pay the dealer to reset it or something.

Thanks!

Disconnect the battery and leave the head lights on for 10 minutes, then take the seats out.

If you disconnect the air bag seats with the battery connected, you'll throw an airbag code.
