Mr Mud (turning a Frog into a Prince)

We rescued this truck from certain death. Some may know it well. A few said it was a lost cause. We were a little more optimistic. There will be a lot of changes, join us as we .... Turn a Frog into a Prince!

cleaned! not enough pennies to replace! lol

One of the major issues is the exhaust leaks. The headers will be fitted with gaskets, the muffler system? well that is a whole 'notherr can of worms! Seems someone attempted to repair a hole between the cats without removing them resulting in this

and here is the step down piping ???

Now to set about fixing it! The holes are aimed up, no wonder the driver was coming back a little dippy at times!

well this is the result of replacing the rear cat....never knew that hole existed:eek::mad:

looks real nice so far. so whats the plan for this thing... going to be and off roader or a DD?

As it stands for now this will become a DD and a hunting rig, as well as towed behind the motor home for a little off road adventuring.

put some covers on the front seats to protect them inside is done for now

wat is that black shiny thing call axle cover?

Very nice glad to see the truck looking good! That front would look awesome with a winch!

the front bumper is not currently configured to house a winch... but that will change soon.

compresion chek DONE! all good!! no to button him back up.
Spark plugs should have been sent to the great JY in the sky about 50,000 miles ago! cannot believe how bad they were, but new wires and plugs, a new radiator, ac condenser, some new atf in the tranny (it looked like mud!) and he'll be a refreshed being again. Really looking forward to driving it.

Still have more to do: change out the u-joints, fix the brakes (I like stopping when I want to stop) and then it off to get smoged!

"differential cover" ?

A spot cleaner called 'spot shot'
