Changing fluids in my wife's new Explorer. Dropped tranny pan, 2000 V8 AWD, likely has never been changed?? has 65xxx miles. This little guy was in pan fluid and not sure where he came from. Been awhile since I had one open and do not remember.

I believe this has been solved!!

Was advised factory assembly line piece, that drops into pan and is just junk now.
:)
