The two vaccum lines coming out of the top of the airbox on the 91-94 explorers, what do I do with them when I install the KKM? Are these really vital? Sorry if this sounds dumb.

On my 92 i plugged one of them up with a bolt and left one open. The instructions say which one to plug up. I can't remember which one it was. There doesn't seem to be any problems with it.

One line is a vacumn off the intake manifold, plug that line. The other goes to a vacumn operated damper assembly which lets in warm air off the exhaust manifold in cold weather. If you remove the airbox and ducting the control goes with it. If airbox is left in place, just plug that line also...
