2002 w/o factory sub

Hey I'm looking to put a sub in my 02 explorer xlt. However I do not want to replace the stock radio. So it there a way I could wire the sub and amp w/o replacing the radio? Like maybe a connector or something?

Get an amp with high level inputs, run wire to your speaker wires, and tap in there, then it'll drive the amp signal from the factory head unit. I had that set up for a little while and it worked great.
