Please Help!! AUX button possibly not working?!?

I have a 2007 Explorer, with the factory radio (does not have satellite).
I bought a Direct Connect ipod adapter (http://www.brandmotion.com/ford-products-that-rock/ford-direct-connect.html), and just finished installing it. Everything went well, I get the "Brand Motion" logo on the ipod, but I cannot play it through the radio, as I am not able to change the input on the AUX button. The only option is LINE IN.

Am I missing something? Why am I not able to toggle though the AUX functions, such as LINE IN, SAT 1, SAT 2?

with out sirius you will only have line in.

I plug my Ipod up to my aux line input in my 2007 explorer and it says "No Aux Audio" The radio has a build date of 6-2006. My explorer was built 7-2007. The radio's serial #6L2T =18C869-AK it has two connectors going on to the back of it. I know the radio is not the one that come in it. Do I need a newer factory radio???
