So after having my 3000K HID fog lights for maybe 3 months, they failed, turns out one or both have an internal short on the ballast.... So I'm done with HIDs for now at least, spending $40 and to waste it seems to leave a bad taste in my mouth. What I was going for the whole time was a yellow look, now I have tried Yellow incandescent bulbs, and they where not bright at all, they actually looked very dim if anything, so what is the best way to get bright or semi bright bulbs, but with a yellowish look so I can see better in the snow storms? Any input is great, not looking to spend a million dollars on them, but I want them to work, and to look good.

Best bulbs for 2nd gen 899 fog lights?

Dig online for more info on using 893 bulbs in the place of 899 bulbs. Slightly higher wattage. You might find out if other 890's or other bulbs will fit also, I just can't recall right now.

Thanks for the heads up on the cross over on the bulbs, I found these Hella yellow Optilux bulbs for a cheap price, and I figure with a brand name I might as well give them a try, plus I have All Hella off road lights on my truck, and they are amazing!!!
