1990 ford bronco II.
The front drivers seat bracket slides back and forth fine, but it won't lock into place, even after the under seat arm goes back to the locked position.
Yesterday one of the tines on the arm that allows the seat to freely move back and forth was locked up, so I lubed/freed it so those prongs on the slide retreat back into the channels on both sides. But Even when the arm to release the seat goes back to locked position, the seat stills slides freely.
Is this something apparent I am missing or is something on the track/bracket actually broken and beyond repair.
thanks in advance
