Hi all,
I have a 97 4.0 which suddenly developed a loud electric drill on hammer action type noise while driving. This only lasted a few seconds then stoped but it done it once more after a few miles furter along the road.
Can anyone help here with advice to if it is the gearbox or transfer box etc, I also have not been aware of any transmission lights flashing on the dash
