Radio Malfunction

Hello all,
I recently purchased an Eddie Bauer edition 2006 Ford Explorer.
The radio works, but I am not able to adjust the sound. The sound,and mute buttons don't work. Any suggestions as to what I need to do.
I am loving my ride!

You may have to get a new radio. If your set on keeping a factory style, there are websites that sell them, but they're not cheap. You can get a much better aftermarket one for less. I'm running a double din Kenwood. I got it from Sonic Electronix for about $120.
