I like the idea, but we'll see if it ever reaches production. I have a feeling it's beyond expensive.

Think about the cost of fuel over the course of ownership, then take into account what you will save. It's possible that the oil companies might make the technology disappear.

Adding a fresnel lens to a solar panel doesn't sound like it should add much cost :dunno:

That's the whole idea, increasing the efficiency by concentrating more energy into the solar panel.
