...Latest reports have come out and Texas seems to be doing the most hiring and has the best record for drawing new business to the State...

...From what I have seen locally, Lowes and HD have been hiring and training new people...Might be worth a shot...

....I talked to 4WP in Compton and they still have business opportunities and say the ones listed below are still available...

...I should be up there in the next week to verify...

4) full time perferred but will do part time for time being

5) Warehouse perferred

6) customer service exspirience, and two years exsperience in machine tooling

7) Open for disscusion

8) basic hand tools, and blueprint reading skills

I am not sure but I work for a great company and they are always looking for entry level work. I started 6 years ago in the mail room and now and a field service tech - I fix production copiers and wide format devices. If you are good with your hands maybe you could check it out. I heard though a friend that works for Rockwell Collins that they plan to hire 40 engineering type positions every month for the next 6 months.

Thanks Ted. The interview went really well. It takes about 2 weeks to complete the CORI check and then I will get a call. I hope I get this. I need a job real bad!

He also suggested that folks who are looking for work should start their own threads there highlighting their skills so that others may keep an eye open for a position which would work out for them.
