Killer car show tonight (photos)

http://fly-n-hi.com/pavillions_3_04/

I had heard about the Saturday car show at the Scottsdale Pavillions for years, but never dragged my butt out there. Well tonight I went and I think I'm going to be hooked! Man, they had EVERYTHING out there, from antique classics, to motorcycles, to lowriders, to trophy trucks All for free and all put on by McDonalds of all places! And this goes on every Saturday night!

LOL, it got it's share of attention. But when they started up the 700HP small block that kind of pulled an immediate crowd Actually I was talking to people all night about the Pumpkin

Thats in my neck of the woods. I go at least once a month. We love it.
I did not go this last weekend because we went to Rocky Point. Torrey told me to get out of going and meet them up there.
Anytime you want to go, give me a gingle we can have dinner first.

I used to live just down the steets from the Pavilions. They've been doing the impromtu car show thing there for years.

Hey Rick, was the top on this Cobra a hard top or soft top? Is it one of the 6 Cobra Coupes that was made back in the day?

There are times I really could have used his rear facing machine gun and rocket launchers The machine gun barrel spins and the rockets move side to side and up and down. Do you think you might just freak a tailgater out if you popped the rear hatch release while driving down the freeway at 65

It looked like a removable hard top. I don't think that's an original Cobra though.

I've been to the car show at the Pavilions many times. As a matter of fact, I got my stereo installed at Best Buy right in the same parking lot. I live right next to the Loop 101 at Cactus so it is an easy 5 minute drive at most for me to get there.

I haven't been there in quite awhile, but last time I went there was an F-750 there which was very cool, 3 different air horn pitches, and about 3 times larger than anything out on the road.

The top that is on that Cobra is a removable hard top, there is a company that builds them specifically for Shelbys. There's a company just down the road from me that sells and builds Cobras like that, and I was in there one day when they were putting the finishing touches on one of those tops. Boy those tops make those cars look MEAN!!
