how hard is it really to make a rollpan?

Well as most of you know my car goes in for paint tomorrow for three weeks.

at the last minute i decided to do a rollpan before it went because boominx's pan was for sale. When it got here it was in awful shape and i had to cut it down into pieces and start essentially from the ranger pan it was made from. something i never would have planned on doing in just 3 days with a deadline like this.

However, i think i did it!

I have some pics of when i first got it, and a few pictures of the entire process.

if you want ot follow in my footsteps the only thing missing is the one thing boomin did that i was able to use- and that is cutting the pan into three pieces and bending it to get the contour and then glassing it together.

last thing-

boomin's pan cost me 125, the ranger pan its based off of is about $150 (so if you wanted to do it thats what you'd pay)

it would take an extra day to section it and get the curve so add that to what i say

the total cost for other supplies was about $75

total time was about 25 hours

thanks Mike and Tyler for helping out a ton (their time is included in that)

umm, well i spend $225 first off. second the explorer underground one is just the metal pieces of the rollpan and you have to weld it together and do finish work on it which costs a lot more money, and third how many of those have you seen? i contacted Zach, i believe his name is, quite a long time ago and actually planned on going that route but he stopped responding to my pm's so i did this.
