New street bike

Well here she is. It's a little big for me but I'll get used to it. Me and a buddy went down to SF and bought 21 of these! Sold them all already and have a waiting list now. 17 were sold within a few blocks of school so we're starting a motorcycle gang.

Check out the pic of it next to my skateboard.

Pocket bikes are cool, I'd like to get one. 49cc I assume? Whats the top speed, and is it a manual gearbox?

Do you need a license to drive it on public roads? How comfortable is it to ride?

Yup.. 49cc. I'd say it'll do about 30-35mph. The speedo goes up to 60mph though.

In Chico, these things fall into three different catagories of motorized vehicles. Basically, as long as you're wearing a helmet, you can ride one on any street with a speed limit of 35mph or less without having to register it or insure it with just a standard class C license.

They're not bad to ride. They take it little bit to get use to. A little squirly at first. But it has electrtic start, head lights, tail lights, brake lights, blinkers, a horn, a key.. they're pretty much loaded.

Damn, that's pretty cool. How much can we get them for? I've been watching eBay but I rather buy from somebody on here if the price is decent.

As far as I know, in PA anything less than 50cc doesn't need a registration, and you can ride them on anything except the interstate. I think they do have to have a maximum speed of 35. There are a lot of hop-up parts, even 80cc big bore kits. PA also recently repealed the helmet law.

Those are sweet, but post a pic of you or someone standing next to it... the comparison of the skateboard doesn't help me out, b/c that doesn't look like a standard skateboard.

My buddy is selling them for $400. But that's all local sales. I don't know how much shipping would be. They come in a 4'x3'x16" box and weigh probably close to 100lbs.

I'll get a pic of it next to a person.. but here it is next to my Explorer:

Get one with a person riding it. That is so small I wonder where an adult rider would put his feet.
