After reading Ronnieâ€™s Bar B Q thread, it made me somekinda hungry.

Therefore some fish had to die for the fish fry we are having tonight.

Yesterday my son went out into the Gulf and killed several large Mango snappers, a 30-pound AJ and a couple 28-inch groupers.

Tonight we feast on fried fish, hushpuppies and the trimmings.

Any day my friend, any day. How did they turn out? I didn't see any pics of the catch. What exactly is a "Mango" snapper? We get allot of red snapper from the Gulf, but never heard the term Mango used before.

Sorry, the camera was elsewhere. The fry was great; we had 12 folks there. We could have fed 20 probably. But leftover fish is darn good.

A Mango or Mango snapper is a Florida way of saying a Mangrove Snapper ( Yankees sometimes call em Gray Snapper ).
