my time here maybe ending

well i hate to say it but i think my time as an explorer owner is nearing an end. The cost to maintain the explorer and keep it on the road is just becoming too much....I went to the honda dealer today and i can lease a 2004 civic LX with the 15k mile limit for about $200 a month....compare that to the 181 i pay for my expo, and it looks pretty good....the only thing that really matters is the insurance...i currently pay 151 a month..and will find out about the civic tomorrow....i got an insurance quote on a 2001 civic today and it was 106 a month....pretty darn good....so i figure insurance on an 04 would be 135 maybe 140 or so.

i don't know but i know my time as an expo owner draws to a end....

some of you will be happy because i'll have to sell my clear tail lights...which i'll make a posting for when the time comes...and also i'll have a set of silverstar headlights and fog lights, and also will need to get rid of my flowmaster muffler....so just giving a heads up to those of you with 95-97s who maybe intrested....

a lease is just more feasiable right now.....with school i need something that is just really reliable and good on gas...
my parents lease and it seems like thats a good idea, since you never ever make a profit on a car when you buy it...a lease is perfect for me

LOL after paying for it in 126 years, it's nice not to have payments anymore. Good luck, but personally I would never lease. You get nothing in the end. I would look around and buy a good used one if it was affordable and get some extended warranty.

i appreciate your input BBQ, i've gone over that option. but to me, its more feasible to lease cars.

i've learned to lease cars, since they depreciate so fast. and to buy homes (as opposed to renting) since land appreciates in value.
just the way i feel
