A/C Problems

Hey guys.....I bought my '94 Explorer about a year ago, and at the time, the A/C seemed to work great. Over the winter, I tried to run it every once in a while to keep the seals and lines moist so they wouldn't dry up. But with summer here, I noticed about a month or two ago that the A/C blows nothing but warm air. Also, sometimes the blower that controls the vent doesn't work when I turn it on. But, if I turn off the ignition and start the truck up again, the blower will work again.
I'm not really familiar with A/C parts or problems, so if anyone can give me any ideas so I don't get ripped off by a mechanic, that would be great. I know every situation is different but let me know if anyone has had similar problems with the A/C. Thanks

cannot speak to the blower, but warm air is likely a charge issue. Need to put a gauge set on it and see what it tells. If it's a low charge, should b leak checked and topped up. If the charge is gone, you have bigger leaks and will need an evac and recharge oncethey are found and fixed. HTH. Cost? $100 to $200 plus any parts minimum.
