00m12 question

I have a 2001 Sport Trac which seems to be suffering from the rattle noise associated with the camshaft tensioners as outlined in the 00m12 ONP. Ford tells me my truck is not covered, and I assume it is because of the build date (5/01). My question is two-fold. One, does the 528111 kit fit all 01 Sport Trac with the SOHC, and two, can you just replace the tensioner without removing the manifold and doing the o-rings? My idle and cold start are just fine. is the tensioner an "unscrew the old and screw in the new" procedure?
