HELP blown ecu fuse
hey guys i have a 1992 ford explorer. the i parked the car and when i came back it would not start. the 30 amp ecu fuse was blown in the dist. box under the hood. when i put another in it it blew aswell. whats up? where should i start? thanks for any help!

What's up? You have a short or other electrical fault somewhere.
Where to start? If it were me, I'd get a wiring diagram and start looking over everything that is fed by that fuse. It could get tedious and frustrating, so a good dose of patience may be in order. Look over the wiring and make sure there's nothing obvious (bare wires and such). Check the wiring from the fuse to the EEC relay. Check the EEC relay to make sure it hasn't shorted out internally. You could try unplugging everything that gets power from the EEC relay (there are several items, including the computer).
