Unhappy chip ?

I ran a superchip in my explorer for maybe 2 years with no trouble Then a couple months ago i had a problem. The car would kind of randomly not start and it wouldnt start until it wanted to again. So i went through some troubleshooting and decided to take out the chip and it started right up and i havent had any trouble since. Anyone have any ideas on what may have happened? I would like to put the chip back in but i cant have the explorer not start on me. Its been about 3 months without the chip. Thanks, Major

Are you sure you cleaned the contacts good?

Send it back to SC and have them test its functions.

Good luck....

Maybe the contacts corroded and you need to re-clean them?
