I have been helped by this forum many times ,and am embarassed to say I have become the owner of a 1980 chev 3/4 4x4 and need help finding whats suposed to bolt to the right hand side of the 205 transfer case ( in the 2 holes ) I broke my transmission case by too much torquing and have been told a suport goes from the r side of the transfer case to the frame ,I see the 2 holes that are threaded ,but dont have a bracket ..a few wreckers said they may have one if I could id it ,but I dont know what it looks like ..GM has no answers so I'm looking for a forum like this one for gm 4x4s Can someone please help ?

there's no need to be embarrased that you have a "chevy". From what i've seen, members here really dont care whether you have a Ford, Chevy, Jeep or Dodge. We only get pissed when someone comes to our site who owns one of the other brands and bash's Fords like a redneck.

I dont know the answer to your question. But i know a few people on this site tow their rigs with chevy's so hopefully they'll see this. (ive seen the pics but cant remember who has em).

I'd try Pirate4x4.com....they have an area for everything. ZR2.com is a good place for the smaller chevys...they might know something too.
