Thumbs up New look on the way!!!!!!

Roughly 8 moths ago I set out on a mission but my dreams were killed. I wanted an update look for my tired 92 box. I wanted something different then the update Explorer look. I found a kit for 80s Rangers to update them to a 1 peice Ranger Edge clip. I did ALOT of research and alot of time on the phone to finally realize it couldn't happen. No matter the fabrication. My only option would be pretty much cut and section the fiberglass. Which would be a real pain in the butt since it was a one peice clip. I didn't want it that bad. Now to the present..........

I've kept this a secret till I knew it was going to happen. And well, I ordered it today so its going to happen. I have found 2 different shops that came out with a kit better then what I was origianlly looking for. A one peice front clip for Rangers and Explorers to update them to a 97 and up F-150. One is fiberwerx.com and maniakracing.com . Both good shops. I went with maniak cause Abe the owner is a really cool guy and his is cheaper but his kit has a hood scoop to. I liked the look of the scoop more. He doesn't have any in stock so hes gotta make it and figure out shipping cause he is located in Mexico. We are working on it though. Heres some pics from fiberwerx website since theres are better pics but Abes are the same plus a scoop. But if you go to maniaks website you can see it on a basic Explorer to get a feel for it. Just remember though. Mine will be SASed and running 40s under it to. The pics of the headlights are some I found. Let me know what you guys think about those.

I have thought about doing this, but with a BII it just doesnt look right, unless you chop the back.

Now you realize you will have to chop out alot of your existing front clip right??? Any plans for a full engine cage?

Your ex will look killer

Yeah I've been thinkin and thinkin about doin an engine cage. I can eliminate alot of the headache that way and plus I can really easily fit 16" shocks up front going with a cage. We'll see.

I would go with the Harley Davidson or lightning headlights before those projectors. But the rest should look good.

i thought that the whole point of the kit was so you jsut basically replace sheetmetal... i dont believe you have to cut out the front clip.... it should bolt to the existing one...

I am not sos ure about that but you may be right.
Most of these one piece kits are made to cover up all the tube work on these desert trucks.
I can tell yout he radiator support will be highly visable from the front, just like on this blue ranger, but thats nothing a skidplate and bumper wouldnt solve.
yes it will fit, but you'll have to hide the inner fenders and radiator support, mine as well cut it all off and replace with tube
