Hey I like the E. I will have to post some pics of my OFNA Dominator and trailer with my chriscraft on it too. Don't give him grief about the toysI buy a new one every chance I get. My favorite is still my Tamiya m1025 humvee painted to match the one I drove in Iraq. RC Lives!!!!

Indeed you do, I think these things have to be one of the most entertaining and fun toys I have ever owned!! I think I have wheeled almost every trail in all of Seattle's city parks as well as many a rockpile, campsite, river bed, and etc..... The fun just keeps going.

And the parts are so much cheaper when they break than my X

I did the body my self with black and candy apple red. I used chrome tape and a exacto knife for the grill and trim.

Nice! How do you like the roll cage? I have been thinking of working on one, or buying one. As much as this thing gets flipped or rolled 50 feet down a hillside it would be good protectiion!

What would be really neat would be to design an exo cage for the explorer body. Where body mounts and bumper braces are aluminum it could be easily designed to hook into the structure there.

I wish I wasn't so broke this summer

Yeah the roll cage is pretty nice its stopped alot of damage. However I would suggest if I had to do it over and had the machinery to do it i would build my own cage because I've had to weld this one on the roof bars twice now. I also would make it aluminum I know it bends but this cage is kind of heavy 1 1/2-2 lbs. Since it was so heavy i needed to re gear with the spur gear and then put the after market exhaust which put me a little bit further ahead in power then I was before the cage.

Good point on the wieght factor. I believe I have seen them for sale made out of t-6 Aircraft Aluminum. Then again I would rather design my own anyway.

How low did you have to gear? I figure I'll have to drop at least a bit when I up my tire size, but I should figure the added weight in as well if i design an exo cage for the parma Ex body.

Lastly for ease of people discovering this thread I have updated the first page to be similar to my elite registry with a list of upgrades and a few pictures.
