High RPM electrical problems?
Over 4000 rpm and sometimes under that, the radio and a/c blower shut off for no reason and the check engine light comes on. The radio and blower return when rpm's decrease and the light goes off when re-started. I'm thinking maybe the voltage regulator may be defective and is allowing an over voltage condition that the accessories don't like.
Has anyone had a similar condition? What is the max voltage I should expect to see? Is the regulator integral with the alternator ? |
