yellowing clear corners

I have only had these clear corners for about 6 months. They have definitely started yellowing. Can I do anything to clean them up, or should I just buy better ones?

I've heard that you can't do anything about the yellowing. They are cheap and you either get a good set or a bad set.

Someone told me to take a shammy wheel that you stick on a drill and buff it with that. Maybe use some kind of polishing compound.

There's nothing to buff out. The yellowing isn't caused by residue, it's caused by UV rays that stain the color of the plastic because its poor quality.

But does it stain the plastic all the way through or just the surface?

I have no idea, but it really doesn't matter. If you're outside all day and get a tan, you can't just take a rag and wipe it off. Same principle.

I always heard wax did a good job of keeping them from yellowing. Not only that, but I imagine that if you used some of that other headlight cleaning stuff it might clean them up some. I used that on my headlights and corner lights when I first got my truck and it made a HUGE difference. Mine look like they're only a year or 2 old, not 10 years old.
