figured that would get your attention.

Ok. This is my registry. :). Well changes happened and i will not be able to do my sas as planned. so i should still be doing a 4 superlift.

First Off. ME

ME. i am in the army, i've hit the rank of Sgt. Been to Iraq twice. what fun. I ejoy long walks on the beach and sunset on where ever that was... anyways scouts out...

my explorer :

The plans were the following : lots of junk. MY uncle own a custom chassis shop back home in michigan *hint* (to those of you there) and can bend up to 2 inch doim tubing, rollcage, bumpers, sliders... you know the works. But the wifey had to (not on purpose) wreck the heep she drove. Which changed my plans. BY a long shot.

Ok what i had managed to get done.

1. Stealth install on the CB radio.
i took a corba 75wx and a dremel... and fit it in below the cup holders like so : (all pictures comeing when i figure out how to resize or someone can help me with it). The only thing you see is nothing. nice aint it. Its wired in to the fuse panel. Total install including seat removal 2 hours.

2. Brown wire mod.. Did it while doing the above... -removed

3. Custom KC light wiring harness. MY switches are mounted in the console front and easy to use. - this is an in progress thing right now doing some more on it today (29 June 2004) update they are in talk about a pia, relays work and power is good. Took out the brown wire mod.. i have questions on it that i have to answer before i do it.

4. Body lift. - 3' PA everyone has seen it, easy to do..

5. (inprogress). Custom mounted 10's and amp in fiberglass boxes in the rear cargo area. I hate fiberglass

6. 4.56 gearing :) cause it cant be gut less after the lift. ok i got the gears in and they are sweet. yes one tooth needed a little bit of clearanceing to make them fit. thanks to my pops i now have a new drivers side wheel bearing, torque the nut down its not good to just be finger started

7. purple cranium rear diffy cover (half) spider. This is by far easy to do. change you gear lube if you decide to do so, cause you know its been forever since you felt like doin it. (need to go grab a pic of this)

8. Grab Handles. - my wife complaines cause she's short and has to hop to get in. So she wanted grab handles. Off to the junk yard i went. After searchin hi and low i found a bmw 525i with nice roof mounted ones. heres what they looked like:

20 bucks and two hours with a dremel they came out like this:

if anyone wants more info on any of these, let me know i'll post a seperate page and write up of them.

i'll finish this later peoples and add more to it

i almost forgot... the comparison picture.. could have done a better one but this gives the idea.

Those BMW handles look great!!!

updated first post

You should hook me up with some details about how you securely mounted the grab handles to your A-pillars. My lady and friends would really appreciate such. They have a hard time now as I refuse to have any kind of step and it is only getting taller ;)

DUDE!! Where in Michigan, I need stuff done!! Lemme know, PM me...

Good looking X. I like the contrast of the black bumpers on the white truck.

dreamr, i used roller pins as a sleeve for the screws hold the handle to the a pillar, dont make me tear it down and take pictures please, it sucked tryin to install it by meself let alone to do it again, i'll take a few more pictures today and try to get them up.

bumpers not done yet but i had to drive down to NC to drop off the wife and will be heading back up on wenesday. i'll post a sneaka peak if it when i do the grap handles.

frint bumber pic

ok here is a not so finished but threw a coat of paint on it picture of the front bumper

2036219_11_full.jpg

beats me why the left light looks so far off, its only off by 3/4 of an inch in reality, need to cut it off and move it in some. still need to do a skid plate and thinking of driving light on the side to tie in the top to the plate in the center for the winch mount.

started prep work for the fenders today, took out the lining and moved the vaccum ball from the passenger side.. still need to find a good place to mount it. thing the firewall

i know its all black and hard to see but its the point everything is cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint on them, forgot to take a before shot

like the truck man... and that front bumper  good job

the front bumper saved the truck today. Well I took the wife out to dinner for her birthday. Left the restaurant and it had started rain like hell. Hurricane type stuff… straight line winds vertical rain the works.. anyways lightning hit a tree next to me on the road and a branch hit the truck the bumper saved my truck. The limb was about 6 inches in diameter. Thank god my uncle and weld and i went with 120 doim like he said. the only damage is a long scratch where the thing hit. the fiberglass fenders i just put on flexed and no damage i could see. might have broke a kc light on the passgener side. i'll find out in the morning and see what the damage is

Wow, thank goodness for that bumper! I really like those grab handles. Any idea what year BMW (about) they were off? I think it would be a nice thing to have for the ladies to get in when I've got the 36s-37s. :D

they were off a 98+ beamer dont know anything more than that
