When your Explorer is THIS low, bad things happen

Bad things like THIS:

The axle was rubbing the line, and caused it to break @ the barb'd end of the tank inlet, right @ the worm clamp.

Still looks awesome :)

That slight tuck looks nasty(in a bad way).

Why do you say that? I like it...

That is a clean truck you have right there. Nice job.

CUT YOUR NAILS! and nice truck by the way :)

lol ions.....I did cut them...

Looks awsome! Need to get the front down. Eh, it looks good sitting still anyways ;)

Personal taste, I like an even wheel well around the tire, unless it's baggies.

I thought the front needs to come down too, but until I get a new driveline, the rear will have to come UP 1" to even it out......BUT as it sits now, the X actually sits perfectly level.....When the rear is raised a bit, it will have a slight rake to it....

eh, i just dont see lowerin it, it kills the whole SUV thing.

I guess as far as lowered trucks goes i assume it looks good.

Oh well to each and there own on what they like. I can commend you on the hard work you put into the X.

Shows that people still like 10+ year old vehicles and no need to go out and buy a new one.

I haven't 'lost' any functionality that I had before. It's a 2wd, so I never really planned on going off roading with it anyway......besides that, of the 4x4 Explorers that ARE out there, what percentage will actually ever see anything OFF ROAD (gravel roads DO NOT count...lol )!

This is a daily driven X......not a show-only vehicle.......a REAL vehicle I can take on the freeway, down any (paved!) road, and not worry about it.....

I was hoping to open this up and see you stuck on a speed bump :D . Im not much into lowered vechicles but yours is one of th better looking ones I have seen. Is there anyway to get rid of the body seam under the doors. I think it would look alot better if that was covered bent up or something else.

I would tear the bottom out of everything pretty fast, since I have driven a 4X4 for close to 17 years now. I have drug my moms minivan a couple of times (with her in it) when I forgot what I was in. OOPS!

However, I happen to like your X. The white wheels are what make it look really sharp.

Yes, I am actually going to be getting rid of the one under the rear doors....it kinda takes away from the whole 'clean' look I'm going for.

I do have the Stillen Ground FX that I still need to put on as well.....I haven't decided if I am going to just put them in place, or actually have them 'molded in'.....We'll see what it looks like...
