LMAO! For everyone who doesn't get the name of Micah's truck (Emily Rose) watch the Exorcist again... it's the name of the little girl You bring up a good point though, man- we should bring a gallon of Holy Water along too just in case yours starts acting up again

For the record, I have no issues at all with Christian wheeling, 'm merely curious as to what it entails. And I'm making a mental note to keep my and my rowdy bunch's shenanigans away from anyone who might find them offensive

Yeah many of us are Christians.

Lindsay, I don't recognize Bobby Crawley as anyone that's wheeled with this board before and he's a new member so he doesn't know what this group is like..... maybe he was just wondering if there's going to be many people like you who'll show up nekkid and drunk so he'll have to leave his kids at home. ..... or maybe he heard that rumor about JasonB getting caught sniffing bicycle seats at the local middle school

Bobby good to welcome you; this is a great group of varied people of all types and the runs are kid-friendly too.

Nice Top...I have one just like it. Is there an updated list of trucks that will be wheeling? The last one that I seen was like 4 pages ago. Also, Can we wheel for 48 hours straight or do e have to sleep? I know that I would hate to not get good use of my fog lights. Is it okay for me to bring a friend and his Truck? He's not a member of his site but he wants to go...maybe I should just pummel him until he just signs up...BRB (Fists are Shaking)

I dunno about the nekkid part... although there was no shortage of mooning and 'fruitbaskets' at our New Year's run (I think that's what Fug called it- it involves mooning with more than buttcheeks ). Come to think of it, no one's ever gotten nekkid on one of our runs (Brennan rubbing his bare butt allover Chris doesn't count, although it was pretty funny to hear him scream like a little girl). Damnit guys, we're slacking!!! We can't let the Texans get all the credit!!

Then again. I've got NO desire whatsoever to see Ben streak across Perkins

Isn't that pic of Johnstone when he was auditioning for Brokeback Mountain?

i'm new to the site, but there's no way i'm gonna miss out on a ride that just happens to be about 35 feet from my house. i live in crozet, so i'll definitely be there. gotta pimp out the explorer first though. right now it's totally stock with more ass sag than an old woman. thanks to the good info, i should have at least the clearance issue fixed before we ride. peace

I wonder how this run is gonna be compared to the other two anniversary runs? I hope we have the biggest turnout. All the fuss we made to get one over this way, We need to make it look good.

I just got back and "Oh my God". We did the medium blues (almost the least difficult). I did the go arounds on the more difficult obstacles. It was way fun and challenging. No breakage but 33s 4.56 ratio, limited slips front and rear, 5.5-inch lift and a chicken heart. Gentlemen start you modifications.

Yea we also took a 98 X on 31s and it was imediately parked. The most important thing to have is low gears, no brains and big cohenies.

The GWNF is close by and is fine for stockers. There is a trail in the forest nearby (Stoney Run) theat we have to check out.

That's what I've heard and seen on other site that have gone to Crozet.. I have 33 4.10s and open diffs... I'm not sure If I'll be locked in the back or not, but I don't want to take too much damage (rock sliders would be nice).
So did you take lots of pics and how long was the run (distance and time)... You know it's really difficult when you only travel 1/2 mile, but it takes 4 hours to do it..

I really felt out of place, all the vehicles there were all jeeps approximately 30.

There were several jeep guys with 3.73, 33s and open diffs on both ends. They were able to make all the obsticles with a little help and good spotting. Our group did not get any body damage. I thought I got a quarter panel on a tree but it was the tire, and I lost a mud flap. One of the jeeps broke a control arm.
Some of the trails were very tight.

I only took a few pictures, but my spotter took some. I will try to get them posted.

The trails were all less than 1/2 mile. The longest time was maybe 2-hours. We had like 8-vehicles, and the first obsticle took most of the time. All the trails were like 1/4-mile or less from the open field.

Difficult is great! I think one of the things you mentioned, the chicken heart, has a LOT to do with the capability of a rig/driver. Sometimes ya just gotta hammer down!

I don't know what everyone is talking about. I drove right thru Crozet with my '05 Civic no problems......... granted I was out hitting the wineries!

Darn I wish I would have went... 'course I'd probably be repairing more than the rockers on my Zuk.

NEED PICS!
