Stock Disc Changer Problems

I recently purchased a 1996 Limited Explorer, and the stock disc changer won't eject when I press the button. Is this a common occurance? How is this fixed? any feedback would be appriciated. thanks

mine did this once... i turned on and off the power about ten times with the key and slapped it around a bit and it stopped... no joke

I have a 2000 XLT and I want my 6 CD's back. How do I remove the CD Changer so I can tear the damn thing apart.
