Wish I had a Garage but a Carport is the next best thing.

I don't have a garage to show off but I want to show off my set up.

Got the bottom for Christmas and added to top box. The original top box is over to the left the drawer slides weren't great so I'm using it for rare use stuff.

Love this box it keeps me very organized.

Got this stuff for Christmas also.

Not to sure how to use this but I'm gonna learn.

Such a cool drill
My favorite tools I got.

Here's the small box.

Got this from my Girlfriend's grandpa for Christmas. Doesn't work on my truck but I've used it several time already. It's a great tool to have.

All the tools tucks up beside the fridge in our laundry room/pantry.

Luckily it has a door that connects to the carport where I do all my wrenching.

So much better than working out in the elements so I'm glad to have it but I sure would love a garage.

BTW that dumb bug is the one I've got to use the code scanner on. Hopefully after all these issues with it my parents have learned to take my advise when it comes to cars.

Great job of stowing away things nicely.

It's either keep it clean and organized or have it thrown in the shed(and probably broken) while I'm at school so I make sure to keep it all somewhat organized and out of the way.

Thanks. Most of my tools were from my great grand father. My dad inherited them from his dad and i saved them from rusting away in the shed since my father has no mechanical ability at all. The rest of them I've been collecting since I was about 13.

The wrenches are great they are mostly Snap-On's with a few Craftsman mixed in.

That looks great! If you don't mind me asking how much did all those tiles run you and what kind of abuse can they take? (Jack stands/cherry pickers/auto fluids)

Thanks. They were $1.98 a square foot w/ free shipping; I did my 2 car garage for around $1,000. (got them from www.bigfloors.com -they are called "garagedeck"). They will take whatever kind of auto fluids you can dump on them without staining. Regular dirt cleans up easy with an old mop.

Angle iron jackstands with an Explorer on them will probably leave indentions; I plan on using a mat underneath the jackstands when I work on the vehicles. They do have a 12 year warranty, so if you manage to bust a few of them up or wear them out, the company is supposed to replace them free. I tested a few scrap pieces with a hammer and by dropping various heavy tools from high up; you have to beat on them pretty hard to leave marks or destroy them. For a hardcore garage where you would be doing motor swaps, welding, etc on a regular basis, epoxy would probably be a better solution. But for an occasional working garage, I think it is a good product. I am happy so far.

Edit: I think a cherry picker on wheels would be okay; I have some pretty heavy tool chests/shelving units with casters on them and they haven't hurt the tiles; they roll around fine.

I don't think i will be inspiring anyone with my set up but here she is.

I rarely get my vehicles in and it's a two bay. It isn't pretty but very functional, that is when I can get a vehicle in there.

here's mine after a fresh cleaning today. nothing fancy, but it's got plenty of room for all of our gear:

notice my fresh new action packer i got from costco for under 20 bucks!

when we moved in, all of these cabinets and drawers were left in the garage, so as a thank you to my parents for letting me live in there house while i saved money for my own, i gave my dad my beloved rolling tool chest. so now all my tools live in these crappy drawers until i can get a new large rolling tool chest.

our snowboards

our mountain bikes

fishing gear in the rafters

crabbing nets on the wall

my goal this summer is to get a new compressor and finally getting my first welder so i can get a set of rock sliders and a hitch mounted spare tire carrier made.

Finally got mine all cleaned up. I recently got 2 of those cheap tupperware type cabinets to keep small stuff in like paint, carwash, etc. Mainly just to keep the place from looking so cluttered.

Compressor is in a closet (you cant see) behind the grey cabinets on the left, and the walls and door are covered in scrap carpet. You can barely hear it running.
