i wouldn't bother with it. not if u want to keep the system. u willing to give it up all together or downgrade to do that? i thought about doing it to mine simply for looks... but i'm not willing to get rid of my subs or move down in size... so its a no go.

you can always incorperate the subs into the 'half bed.' Make like a hard top for it, that would be sick.

although you would loose a lot of 'loudness' since the soundwave would go straight up and out of the truck, compared to bouncing off the roof.

MS paint is the sheeit

how many miles a week do u drive? i was all ready to buy a cheap daily driver for gas mileage till i started putting numbers together. buying the car, maintaining the car, paying for insurance and doing the same thing with my truck would cost me more money than it would to just deal with really crappy mileage in my truck.

I am going to do it as soon as I have a place to keep it that is covered. I have a daily driver but I also had it before I got the Ex. The other thing is that if it's going to be your daily driver, you have to think about if you'll mind the noise and comfort of having no roof everyday. Not to mention, the security of the truck. You won't be able to have anything of value inside there including the subs.

I think a first gen chopped right behind the rear doors with the back of a ranger cab and a tonneau cover type thing would look really good.

Another thing need to be done after that is mess with your rear spring rate as it will be a lot stiffer without the weight of the cab that was there.
