Hi everyone,
I just bought a Garmin 2610 from getfeetwet dot com. it was a sweetdeal, free shipping and 2years warranty. anyway i own a delivery service and a gps really helps. I am thinkning og making a hole in the dash, and installing the unit there. and it pops up when i need it. Just like the ones in the new acuras. I am curious, has anyone ever done this before? has anyone semi permanently installed a GPS unit in thier cars? I just dont want to leave the unit out for thieives to break into my car. so thats why am planning to install it.. Thanks for your help guys. Steiner Grass |

I have the Garmin 2620 and simply take it out after using it; I use it everyday.
If you do an in dash mount, you will need to use the external antenna. Good luck .... __________________ Al Franklin My truck My Quest for 30 RIP Al Franklin! 1947-2010. Gone but not forgotten! :( |
