Exhaust Resonator or not? '91

I had this 'x' for about three years now. It's time for a new exhaust. The one that is on there is the muffler that goes into the Resonator/tailpipe.

They sell another system that has a slightly larger muffler that goes directly into a tailpipe.

I want quiet but I can also save some bucks by going without the Resonator/tailpipe.

Does anyone have experience with swapping over and how noisey it got?

The first time I had mine done I had a factory type muffler put on without a resonator and a factory size pipe custom bent. It got a little bit louder, but not really noticable. Just leave it off.

It will be a tad louder. Nothing too great though. Leave it off.
