I'm trying to read the pinion depth number on my pinion gear and I am not 100% sure exactly what it is.
Its either -88 or 188.
Right now I'm leaning towards -88 because 188 is almost two-tenths of an inch and thats a tad high for the difference between the nominal distance and this gear-set’s ideal distance. But then again, whoever at Yukon engraved these numbers onto the pinion has a leaning handwriting and it could be 188.
What do you guys think .. -88 or 188?
I also tried to look for a support phone number on Yukon's website and on the "Installation Kit Instructions" pamphlet but couldnt find any
