spotty plastic

o.k, this is'nt a hi-tech question or anything, but my x has the grey plastic that runs around the fenders and the rockers. anyway, they are getting black spots all over them especially on the rockers. i know that it's from the armor all splashing on them when i drive the truck. after i dress the tires i don't drive it for at least an hour to give the dressing time to soak in. anyway, i've scrubbed the plastics to no end and the spots dissapear when wet, but return when they dry. does anyone know of a product that will remove these spots?

Put ArmorAll on a rag and treat those plastic areas too. Sounds like they are starved for treatment and this should make the color uniform.

I had the same problem I "fixed it" by painting them black LOL I like the look better and the black spots don't show up.

thanks guys. i was gonna put armor all on them, but i was told only to put armor all on the tires and not on any plastic parts on the exterior of the truck. i was told that even though it looks nice once you put it on, over time it actually ruins the plastic. i was told that eventually you have to keep putting it on because the plastics begin to look like crap without it. anyway i'll try it, but the whole painting them black idea is sounding pretty good to me.
