LOL you know I pretty much would be there or at GWNF on most weekends IF i had a trailer - but I don't so I just have to go when there's a trailer available for me.

Thanks - I'll definitely ask them on the way in.

IZ, back to back weekends is even more reason to come.

There are people that are constantly begging PAP to change it to 2. There are even a few people that have been sending them emails almost weekly about it I hope that had some effect

i like the console idea with thie winch but are you just going to drill holes in the firewall to get all the wireing to the winch

Most vehicles have large holes in the firewall already. Usualy where the engine wire harness comes through there is a large rubber grommet. THe hole there is big enough if you pull the gromet out.

Since my original mechanical E-brake is no longer being used, I removed it and its cable - which left a perfect hole to run the winch wires.

I'll try to get some good pics of the underside tomorrow or friday - before Paragon.

But here are some pics of the panhard during the build..

The panhard is the one on the left with the odd bends -- which were required in order to "snake" itself between the differential housing, the engine's bottom section, and the upper link mount (which sits on top of the differential)

Here's another shot of the complex bends with the panhard bolted to the chassis but not the axle:

Here's a shot of the panhard mount on the chassis end. the chassis was notched (perhaps too much) in order to bring the panhard and the steering links into the chassis for optimum articulation. Excuse the pitman-arm, that was later removed and replaced with a flat pitman arm (no drop).

Here is a shot of the bracket that was welded onto the axle to which the panhard bolts up to (altho the panhard is not bolted on in the image):

So I'm on my way to work this morning. Listening to WBGO (Newark NJ NPR jazz station) and the news comes on. I hear a name I recognize and after hearing a clip of him speaking I think "hey, I know that name, this is that guy from the explorer site!" Aparantly you made quite a good impression to the people of NJ. Congrats!

Sorry I didnt get a chance to take pics redranger4.0 -- there was a lot of things to do on the Thurs & Fri before Paragon so it was a mad dash up until midnight the morning before departure.

But I am here in Paragon and the vehicle has performed very well. 4-LO + locked 14b + a lot of flex on the front has proven to be a nice combo. I'm not running the front Ausie locker because I didn't have time to install it before departure but I've done half of the blue trails w/o any problems. I <heart> rocks We'll be back at the trails for the entire day tomorrow so

BTW, did anyone put paprika on these trails? Cauz I must say, they are delicious.

The only problem I'm running into are
1) I forgot to charge up the air shocks so the front is kind of lower
2) I forgot to cut a corner of the gas tank skid plate so it rubs up against one of the "ribs" on the 14-b axle.

Well where are the pics eh? Well my brother forgot his USB transfer cable so I'll have to wait till I get home (tomorrow night) to transfer the pics.

With that setup you should be able to hit some black 1's up there. Good luck and have a blast

Well the first day were mostly trail rides I'm only posting a few pics cauz I'm actually stranded here in PA after the second day .. lets just say I did something bad enough to shear 3/16" plate like paper and required 2 winches to get me out .. so I'm here waiting for this truck repair place to open tomorrow so I can weld up that sheared part. And I don't yet have a pic of what I did so the these three will have to do for now ..
