location of factory amp in 2004 XLT explorer???

i just got my 2004 Explorer and i was wanting to put in an aftermarket amp and sub. i know where the factory sub is, and before i going tearing up stuff, i was wondering if anybody knew of where it is. is it behind the sub in the back?
