Help Please !!!

Hi i have a 98 explorer sport with a kenwood cd player... heres my problem i installed a amp and 2 12" subs the other day and everything worked fine. the next day i moved the ground so i could move my amp onto the box. i hooked the ground up and tested it , it worked. so i turned it off. then i turned the key on to play them and nothing turns on. fuse #20 blew out. so i put a new one in and they keep blowing before anything turns on. so i put everything back the way it was and they still keep blowing. this is driving me nuts. i looked for any wires touching and nothing iv been through 15 fuses... please help me ...

you crossed a wire somewhere, or because of poor installation might have burnt through the sheathing of one of the wires, so now you have a direct short

yeah you pretty much have to go through all the wiring and check where the short in the system is. Try disconnecting your amp at the battery and see if the radio will work alone without the amp, if not its time to pull the radio out and check back there too.

i unhooked the amp and it still blew the fuse then i unhooked the radio too and it blew. looked over all my wires nothing that i could see ... is there a way to test for a bad wire without getting power to it? .. if it helps when i take the faceplate off the radio the theft light still blinks so it must be getting power.... im just so confused right now. thanks for the help tho
