Headers are on the way and I look forward to seeing what this new exhaust is going to do here.

Honestly, I'm getting tired of these "small" gains. This next dyno better give me some results, like the goal I set. If not I'm ready to go big. Like a turbo.

I have the distinct feeling that this thread is going to get quite active in the next few weeks. Just clairvoyance on my part.

yap - this thread is about to come alive.

At one time, people might of thought, "why is this thread in the need for speed forum?". You'll find out.

To make an x go fast, you have to quit dicking around with the typical "bolt-ons". I've learned this.

JTSmith - I haven't forgot about you.

But I know a guy who knows a guy who bolted a leaf blower to an engine and dyno'd it this one time, and he got like 30 more HP, so obviously they work!

Looks like it's coming along nicely, Jakee.

I've added a few mods lately, more for handling than "go". Zabteck sway bar, Moog end link bushing kits front and rear, and I added a tailgate lip spoiler to drop the Mustang spoiler. Also running EBC Greenstuff pads up front and I love the way they stop, and running Royal Purple in the engine now, she loves it, and if you haven't already switched to that, I'd recommend it.

BTW, 98 degrees sitting in traffic the other day with the a/c on 4, ice cold, and temp never got above 197. Love my e-fan!

au01st - I hope to catch your numbers. actually, I hope to pass yours up. But, you know how that goes. It's all in the weather and the type of leaf blower you have. hehehe

But, if I don't make this goal, I may turn this into a rock crawler. I've been thinking about this for awhile now.

Hey guys - Just in case you haven't been following some of the other threads out there I would like to let you in on something.

James (AKA JAH81592) owns Henson performance and is a vendor here. He is a up and coming tuner and he is going to "remote tune" me. In other words, I will do some pulls on the backroads and shot him the datalogs. He will then adjust and we'll make some more pulls. I'm not sure how many pulls I'll have to make before being tuned but this is the plan. Also, james will make a thread describing how this process works.

After all this is done, I'll go and get some numbers for you guys so you can see where I'm at. The beauty of this all is you don't have to just live with a Mail order tune anymore when you don't live close to your tuner. You can be remote tuned and be VERY close to the max of your vehicle.

Now, if I ever decide to do some sort of force feed induction, I will fly James up to me so he can get in my truck and listed for anthing that might be wrong.

Ok i highly doubt the 30hp... but i'll tell you theres a big difference from siting on a dyno and actualy driving (this is why most dynos places blow big fans at your car while you make your runs), i'm not gonna doubt he got some more power sitting on a dyno but i know actualy driving it would hurt the power.

but if you really want to think you're hot stuff i'll race ya any time with my truck or car if you install a "electric supercharger" in your intake and we can race for cash

See thats whats weird with some of you need-for-speed guys.. greed and the "mine is faster than yours" mentality .. come on over to the off-roading world where you wheel what you have and there's none of this drama

jakee, it can eat my lunch all it wants but it woln't make you faster i've actualy heard of those hurting engines and flying apart and really messing things up.

IZwack i'm not trying to say mines faster but i know it would if they put one of those on there, i know guys who did it with bad results. So i'm just trying to keep him from making a mistake. Plus i could make some $$ on it and thats always good

Xan - Are all your mods listed in your sig? If so then....

If you post a time slip in the need for speed forum in the next month; I promise to post one faster, with my 4.0 SOHC. If I don't, I'll convert my truck to a rock climber. What do you say?
