Does this part fit in the center of the flywheel (flexplate)? (between the crank and a 1993 A4LD; 6-hole crankshaft).

Should I take this to a machine shop to be pressed out and the new Sonnax one pressed in? The Sonnax (2nd) link below claims that it is a simple drop in replacement but when I removed the flywheel last Tuesday, no parts were such that they could be "dropped" in. Tap it out with a hammer? Am I even talking about the correct part?

I didn't see you post anything in a while. How have you been? There is nothing special about connecting these spacers. They are a direct bolt on part. You could see from the picture below that it has the same amount of holes as the flywheel:

They can get rather wedged into the flywheel sometimes. A BFH or a press can be useful. Support the flywheel well around the spacer so you do not bend it.
