digital gas gauges

has anyone thought about getting a digital gas guage, like in the new cars. My needle bounces around like crazy whenever the ride level changes. Just thought i would see if anyone had any info, i couldnt find anything.

My digital gas gauge hasn't worked in years. I know that the sending unit is bad. You could only get an accurate reading on your gauge while the vehicle is sitting in one spot. If you move, or go on an incline, it will vary. The digital may not fluctuate in the same way, but the accuracy would still be about the same while driving, or going on a steep incline.
