I'm still up for it, but wanted to figure out the plan. I assume many people have to work on the 2nd so we're probably not going to want to be wheel'n too late. Also, I'm in NEED of some camping so I very well might be bringing in the new year in camp'n style.
I am planning to go 1-1-07 but I exploded an axle saturday, I do have another coming but not sure if it will be here or not. I have a stock axle, it may hold up until I decide to actually use the 4 wheel drive.
yeah im not to familiar with the gwnf area i been there once last year on a j**p ride along and wanted to take X there since. So if anyone is willing to take over the planning be my guest. As far as a "when" the weekend after newyears is a possability because i don't think i have to work that sat.
there is going to be a ride 8am 1-1-07 meeting at the store next to trial head. is anyone out there that has the name of this store. I will be following others in. we are coming from the south coming in on 151 you can wait there and follow us one in if you like.
Shoe creek/Big Levels is fun (but I think Torrey Ridge/Big Levels is closed during the winter)
As is Kephardt and Flagpole/Reddish Knob. A buddy and me did Flagpole while I was home for Christmas.
All of these can be done in a stocker with some care/good driving; a lightly modd'd ride will have fun. I'd done several with 30's and 32's with no problems either way
