Ford color code

I have a 2000 explorer sport and the color is two tone green and grey. I need to paint the running boards and the bumpers but i cant find out where to get the color code for the grey. Yes i know the code is on the door for the green but for the trim where do i get the code?

I don't know where to get the code but I did find some paint that matches. I got some Dupli-Color high performance wheel coat from Walmart. The color is graphite part #cwp102000. It matches the factory paint on my 2000 Sports step bars perfectly. If you can figure out how to keep the rust from creaping out from under the plastic step pads on the running boards let me know. I wish I could get them off somehow.

i had a similar problem when painting my 2000 xlt after it was wrecked. we had the white code but nothing for the grey...i worked at the shop so we just looked thorough our color books because they give you the bumper and trim colors for all the makes and years even if they are not listed on the vehicle. any body shop should have a set of chip books and they can use them to match your grey to a code and then you can have the paint the made up..hope that may help a lil

Paint code

When i got back from Iraq last may the mod bug got me and i started doing all sorts of online research. I have so many sites saved on my AOL favorites list. Here is the link to a site where you can get the color code for any make model and year.

http://www.paintscratch.com/

Hope this helps
