Will stock 80' bronco coils work on a first gen as a small lift. my buddy is willing to just give me a set of them.(he is getting a lift) i have ridden in it and they are really soft it feels like a caddy. i know the X is lighter but i dont really mind a rough ride.(hehe) is it possable to use the shackels off the bronco to level it also. thanks in advance.

the shackles will definatly not work.the coils wont fit in the buckets.

ok thanks. is there any chance that i could use some bronco buckets. or are they basicly welded to the axel? what would i have to do to get these to work. i dont want to pass up an oppertunity to get a small lift for close to nothing. he has a doner sitting in his back yard that is a 1980 that i can use parts off of before he takes it to the junk yard. would the leaf springs work on the explorer or are they to wide? thanks

i wish it were a 79' that way i could get a solid D44.

ok thanks i dident know that was there
