Stereo Display Headache

I have been extremely satisfied with my 2001 Ford escape, and I got a great deal on it as a, "pre-owned vehicle." Unfortunately a few months later, my display was just gone. I wanted to take it into the dealership, but I couldn't afford to set aside an unknown amount of time, for an unknown result. Since then I have been checking out the internet for some answers. Some of the explanations are pretty good, but there are a lot of sites that want to charge you for the instructions. I have become so annoyed by this inconvenience that I spent the last several hours sifting through sites, boasting they had the answer to this issue. I have discovered, that the problem is enormous. There are an amazing number of others having this exact problem. Since Ford is not doing anything, that I have found, I'm taking care of it myself.
