i really wish i still had the pictures of me putting it together, it took a few days to squeeze it all under the hood. if it wasnt for the body lift i wouldnt have any room to put it in.

hey micheal, what up dude, cant keep this truck down. babys doin good, screaming, crying, clinging to everything and puts everything else in her mouth hahaha. ill be comming back to texas in may or june before my last deployment. what are you up to man?

i wouldnt call it a serious gain, but it was even better than the EE cold air intake i had on before. it also freed up some space for a second battery. next week im checking my MPG on the highway and street, ill post my outcome of that.
 






Have you thought about sealing the bottom of it, so you get pressurized ram air?
 






yup, im think about making a box that is the shape of the hole cut in the hood, put some weather strip on the edge so when i shut the hood it seals all the walls and keeps the air in with cone only instead of going straight on the engine. maybe even put in heat reflective something-or-other to keep the heat out of the sealed area. if possable of course.

tried black marker but it comes off hahahaa that was paint-in-bottle pen thing. its for covering up your mishaps as much as possable.:D
 






I would tend to think all those bends in the intake tubing would hinder the performance. Have you put the truck on the dyno to see if it actually made extra HP? I assume you have as you claimed "just created a few extra horses". The butterfied scoop imho looks redneck, not something you would ever see on my truck. But to each his own.:roll:

Wicked!,how did you get the butterfly to work? To each his own, I'm just gonna get a stick on hood scoop to put on my hood. { I'm 1 for looks w/o loads of work involved :) }
